Collection includes the papers of John P. Andrews of Salem, MA. Several documents pertain to the Great Pasture Company for which Andrews was Treasurer; an account book for the corporation is also included. The corporation provided for common lands for the pasturage of livestock. Estate documents for John P. Andrews, John Hancock Andrews, and George Andrews are included along with a list of debts owed upon the execution of John P. Andrews' estate and taxes paid on the estate. A multi-page deposition details the work Andrews did while working as a clerk at his father's firm. Adams County, Iowa is represented in the collection; a map of the county is included along with loan documents and an abstract of title to property in that county.
